A concrete mixer is a type of construction machinery primarily used for mixing cement, sand, gravel, and various dry powder mortars and other building materials. It is a machine with a rotating shaft and blades inside a cylinder or trough, which mixes various raw materials to create a mixture or a mixture of suitable consistency. There are many types of concrete mixers, including forced mixers, single-shaft mixers, and double-shaft mixers.

The classification of commonly used concrete mixers mainly consists of a model code and key parameters. For example, JZ350 indicates a self-falling mixer with a discharge capacity of 350L, a conical shape, and reverse discharge. A concrete mixer is determined by multiple parameters; it is impossible to describe a concrete mixer using any single parameter. In 2025, concrete mixers, as a core component of infrastructure construction such as earthwork and concrete pouring, had a five-month utilization rate ranking second among major equipment categories, indicating the steady progress of residential construction, municipal pipeline networks, industrial park facilities, and other livelihood and industrial projects in my country.
